President

The President oversees the overall operations of the Clarington Minor Lacrosse Association (CMLA), calling and presiding over all meetings, representing the organization at the Ontario Lacrosse Association (OLA), and ensuring the execution of the Executive’s directives. As the primary liaison between the CMLA and the OLA, the President also oversees finances, strategic decisions, and makes critical appointments as needed. The President plays a key role in fostering an environment of transparency and accountability to ensure the smooth operation of all CMLA functions.

Megan Doran

Vice President of House League

​

The Vice President of House League is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the CMLA House League program. They manage team formation, grading, and team selection, ensuring a fair and smooth process for all players. Additionally, they coordinate with other board members and committees, contribute to budgeting, and act as a signing officer. The Vice President of House League ensures operational guidelines are reviewed and approved annually.

Jacqueline Saucier

Vice President of Representative Teams

The Vice President of Representative oversees all CMLA representative teams, including coordinating coach selections and liaising with the President on zone functions. They ensure smooth communication between rep coaches and the Board. The VP of Representative plays a key role in maintaining effective operations, from team management to equipment logistics, and ensuring the fair representation of CMLA at all levels.

This role focuses on the development and management of all girls' lacrosse programs, including house league and representative teams. The Vice President works alongside other board members to coordinate floor time, ensure team representation at disciplinary hearings, and liaise with the Women’s Box Lacrosse Council. They ensure proper program alignment with CMLA’s goals.

Secretary

The Secretary is responsible for managing all official communications within the CMLA, including recording meeting minutes and handling correspondence. They support the organization by scheduling meetings, distributing agendas, and ensuring board documents are properly maintained. The Secretary also manages voting procedures, keeps an updated contact list, and ensures that all constitutional amendments are recorded.

Jillian Sheepwash

Treasurer

The Treasurer manages the financial health of the CMLA, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and overseeing the association’s budget. They serve as the primary financial contact with the OLA, facilitate member registrations, and work closely with auditors to present financial statements. The Treasurer plays a key role in financial planning, policy recommendation, and maintaining transparency with the Board and members.

Dionne Petersen

Registrar

​The Registrar is responsible for the registration of all CMLA members and coaching staff, ensuring compliance with OLA deadlines. They maintain the membership database and oversee all personal data collection in compliance with privacy policies. The Registrar also assists in fee collection and reporting, and ensures that all registration processes run smoothly and efficiently for players and bench staff.

Brandon Gomes

Director of Sponsorship and Fundraising

The Director of Sponsorship and Fundraising is responsible for securing sponsorships, and distributing appreciation plaques. They lead fundraising efforts, present new opportunities, and manage the execution of approved fundraising initiatives. This role is crucial in generating revenue and ensuring that sponsors and partners receive appropriate recognition.

Patrick Carroll

Official-in-Charge

The Official In Charge oversees all aspects of officiating, from recruitment to training, ensuring that all house league games have the necessary officials. They coordinate with the Zone 6 OIC and the OLA VP of Officiating and chair the Disciplinary Committee. Their leadership ensures that officiating standards are upheld and that officials are properly educated and supported.

Director of Media Relations

The Director of Media Relations handles all communication between the CMLA and the public. They manage the website, social media accounts, and promotional materials, ensuring up-to-date content and active engagement. They work closely with sponsors and other board members to ensure consistent, accurate communication of CMLA programs, events, and successes.

The Director of Tournaments oversees the CMLA's involvement in tournaments, including organizing and managing the Dan Greer Memorial Tournament. They handle tournament applications, create budgets, and ensure all logistics, from promotion to execution, run smoothly, providing a professional and welcoming experience for participants.

​The Director of Operations coordinates floor time requirements for both house league and representative teams. They liaise with the Municipality of Clarington to secure and schedule necessary facilities. This role ensures that all operational needs related to scheduling and facility management are met for a smooth lacrosse season.

Brock Harris

Technical Director

​The Technical Director is a resource for coaching development and player training. They organize clinics, mentor new coaches, and ensure the technical side of the CMLA’s lacrosse programs meets high standards. The Technical Director plays an essential role in maintaining and improving the quality of coaching and training for players at all levels.

Director of Field

The Director of Field is responsible for managing the OMFLL representative teams and negotiating field usage with the Municipality. They ensure that teams are registered and that all bench staff are properly carded. They also collaborate with other board members to ensure the success of CMLA programs and ensure operational effectiveness for field lacrosse programs.

Director of Equipment

The Director of Equipment manages all aspects of equipment for the CMLA, including maintaining and distributing gear for teams. They work closely with the Vice Presidents to ensure all necessary equipment is available and in good condition for practices, games, and tournaments. This role also involves organizing the return of equipment at season's end and overseeing inventory to ensure that everything is properly stocked for the upcoming season.

Past President

The Past President provides valuable guidance by advising on past decisions and supporting the President when needed. They chair the Grievance and Disputes & Appeals Committees, ensure continuity during transitions, and assist with the planning and execution of the Annual General Meeting (AGM). With their experience, they help maintain the CMLA's institutional knowledge and foster a culture of collaboration and transparency within the Board.
