CLARINGTON MINOR LACROSSE
ANNUAL
DAN GREER MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
JULY 2025
Dan Greer was a respected figure in Ontario’s lacrosse community, known for his deep commitment to developing youth players and his impact on the sport at both local and provincial levels. He was a beloved coach and mentor and his legacy continues to inspire young athletes. Greer’s influence on lacrosse was not only about improving athletic skills but also building sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork among players.

To honour his contributions, CMLA hosts the annual Dan Greer Tournament, which brings together youth teams from across Ontario. The event not only celebrates competitive spirit but also reflects the values Greer instilled in the sport: dedication, community, and growth for all players involved. This tournament, held in July, has become a major event for U9 and U11 players, showcasing young talent while fostering the supportive, positive atmosphere Greer championed. His legacy lives on through these initiatives, ensuring that each new generation of players experiences the passion and integrity that he brought to lacrosse.
